IFTS 3 Mixtape (Summer 2004)

Hey friends, this is Mike. Way back in the summer of 2004 I was still making zines like some kind of nerd. For issue 3 of my Ipecac For The Soul zine, i reviewed around 100 12″ singles that ended up on my doorstep one day. I took the cream of the crap and made a mixtape out of them. The tracklist up above might leave you scratching your head since most of the tracks are relatively unknown, but the best way I can describe the music on here is if The Dollar Store sponsored a house party in the very early 90s.

This may not be your cup of tea, and I only had it converted from it’s original audio cassette format since random people have been asking me for a copy for the past 9 years. The original run was 30-50 tapes and since no one actually listens to cassettes anymore, original copies of this thing are hard to come by. So if you’re a weird stalker or creepy collector of all my shit, you may wanna give this a try. I am also providing a Text file copy of the original zine this tape was from.

(I apologize for the divshare links and not the current industry standard soundcloud, but my account is maxed out at the moment)

The whole thing is right here:
